Cultivating Romance!!! Pursue your spouse! Date your spouse!!!
Tom and I need to date more, it’s true. But, we’ve never been big into dating. We didn’t even really ever “date” – we courted, and were always with or around other people. Now, after we were engaged, we went on a few dates, but absolutely nothing fancy. So, for us, “cultivating romance” is a bit more like doing the other person’s chores before they get to them, or we have a journal we write in ( like love letters or letters of encouragement ). It may mean a surprise night or weekend away. It may mean you fix dinner and take care of all the chores for the night. It may have more to do with physical intimacy (we’ll hit more on this day 24). Whatever your spouse’s love language is, BE MORE INTENTIONAL in speaking their love language!
