Day 5 • 31 Days of Prayer for your Husband

31 days of prayer for your husband august 2016 DAY 05

Day 5 • Topic: Relinquishing Worries

Scripture: Psalm 55:22

Hey y’all! Well, in today’s video you get a little bit of a glimpse into my daily life, lol, you’ll just have to watch and see.  I am loving spending time with all of you each day, praying over our men, our marriages, our families and anything else that pops up!

Let’s Pray!! Heavenly Father, Lord we come to you and we lift up our husbands God.  Whatever is weighing them down, whatever keeps them up at night or causes them anxiety and worry, we ask that You press on them to surrender it all to You.  You are the Ultimate Provider, God.  You call us to live to give You glory and praise.  Help us to trust in You completely, that we may not worry about tomorrow and will live for You today! Jesus, let our husbands feel Your strength and Your comfort. Give them a peace that can only come from You.  Lord, we thank you for your provisions.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Day 2 – 31 Days of Prayer For Your Husband

31 days of prayer for your husband august 2016 DAY 02

Today’s Prayer Focus: His Job

Today’s Scripture Focus: Colossians 3:23-24

Good Morning! or Afternoon or Evening – depending on what time you’re realistically getting the time to read and pray today!!

Today we are praying over our husbands and their jobs!  No matter where your husband works, he has an opportunity to be a shining light for God.  He has the opportunity to be the good, to be an example for others, to lead others, and to share the gospel.

Let’s Pray!
Heavenly Father, we come to you today to lift our husbands up to you, specifically their jobs.  Lord, help him see the strengths that You created him with.  Help him to flourish in the areas that he is naturally good at, show him the areas that he needs to work on and give him the tools to do so.  God, give him joy from You in his work.  Use him to benefit his company, to be a blessing to those around him, and to encourage the people that he works with.  Father, if he is not in the job that best suits him, that You created him for, show him. Provide an opportunity for him to serve you in a position/job that will give You the most glory – and that will allow him to thrive.  Lord, as my husband provides for our family, remind him that You are the ultimate provider, that he cannot care for our family alone – he needs You.  God, show him where You are working and lead him to serve You there also.  Lord. if there is a woman praying right now and her husband is not a believer, we ask that You call his name, that You knock down the walls around His heart and call him to seek You and to follow You.  We thank You, Lord, for being the ultimate Provider, in more ways than we will ever know. Thank You for our husbands and for the institution of marriage. Help us to be helpmates to our husbands and be the wives that You created us to be.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our best defense.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Never have, never will. I pray for our country, dear friends, that’s our best defense. Pray, love, and support for one another. For those of you who have lost loved ones due to this hatred, I pray God give you peace and a spirit of love and forgiveness. Y’all, we’re “fighting” the wrong enemy. Satan is laughing with pure delight at the evil being justified in the world today – not just our country. Hug your black neighbor, pray with them, love them, let them know that they matter to you. Invite them over for dinner, into your homes, into your churches, into your life. Thank your police officers for putting their lives on the line for all of us, daily. Thank them for serving your community, for running to the danger and not from it, so that we may be protected. Hug their families, tell them you’ve got their six. We are the body of Christ, we are called to love one another.

Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

Lord, we are a broken world, a broken country, We need You now more than ever. Send Satan packing, restore our hope. Give us a love for our brothers and sisters of all color, all professions, a love that can only be evidence of You. Lord, soften harden hearts that they may cry out to You. God, give us the strength to stand as a body of united believers. We love You, Father. We thank you for your grace and mercy. Amen
